Board-Certified in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery
As a specialist in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS), I am dedicated to helping women reclaim comfort, confidence, and quality of life by addressing pelvic health conditions that are too often dismissed as part of “normal aging.” While these issues may be linked to aging or childbirth, they are treatable and no one should have to accept them as inevitable.
I offer a full range of both conservative and surgical treatment options for pelvic floor disorders, including:
- Pelvic organ prolapse
- Urinary incontinence
- Bowel incontinence
- Recurrent urinary tract infections
- Pelvic pain, bladder pain, and pain with intercourse
These are often sensitive topics, and I take pride in creating a safe, compassionate environment from the first visit. I spend time listening to patients, thoroughly explaining their condition, and guiding them through treatment options that suit their lifestyle and goals.
I am dual board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, with over a decade of post-fellowship experience. I continually incorporate clinically proven advancements into my practice and serve as a surgical consultant and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for several medical device companies where I am involved in surgeon education.
My recent recognition includes being named a 2024 Medtronic InterStim Center of Excellence and 2024 Axonics Bulkamid Center of Excellence, distinctions awarded for clinical expertise and high-quality outcomes in advanced pelvic floor therapies.
Before transitioning into the private sector, I served as Chair of Women’s Health at David Grant Medical Center during my tenure as a U.S. Air Force officer. I was honorably discharged as a Lieutenant Colonel after earning recognition as Surgical Squadron Field Grade Officer of the Year.
