About Robotic Surgery

Robotic surgery is a form of laparoscopic approach. The surgery will be performed by making small incisions in the abdomen. With the advantage of state of art technology, complex surgeries can be done with less invasive approach. The technical benefits of robotic da Vinci® surgery allows for better visualization, use of multiple instrument at the same time, better dexterity and wider range of motion and many other features that allow surgeon to do fine and meticulous surgeries for complex cases. Better visualization will help to see the tissue planes better and may cause less injury to organs as well as minimal blood loss. The benefit for patient is rapid healing and quick recovery.
